Review - Eyeshadow Primer & Base

1) URBAN DECAY Eyeshadow Primer Potion Tube - Original (Rating:4.5/5)
It's crease-free, so I can wear perfect eyeshadow for at least 8 hours! Even after exercising, my eyeshadow stays on with it!!!
2) TOO FACED Shadow Insurance (Rating: 4.5/5)
It's a popular item, evidenced by its 4703 reviews on Sephora.com. This primer seriously helps my eyeshadow stay on.
3) NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base (Rating: 4.5/5)
I personally love this one the most! Compared to Urban Decay and Too Faced, NARS's eyeshadow base is slightly drier, so it's a little harder to apply evenly. But you only need to use a tiny bit, and it will keep layers of shadow locked in place, and stop the eyeshadow from creasing. If you have a problem with glitter fallout, for example, using Bobbi Brown sparkle eyeshadow, I highly recommend this eyeshadow base! It's very good at controlling my oily eyelids and neutralizing their yellowish tone.
4) e.l.f. Eyelid Primer, Sheer (Rating: 4/5)
It has extremely high quality for its price. The price is about $1.50, and it did indeed make my eyeshadow last longer. It's totally worth its price!! The only thing I didn't like was its yellowish-toned color, which makes my eyelids more orange and yellow.
Summary:
I have to say, I didn't see a lot of differences among these four eyeshadow primers and bases. Some may work better than others, but whether you think it's worth a higher price depends on the individual. I think that as long as you apply some form of eyeshadow primer, it works better than eyeshadow alone.
